Hi Tuberose,
Don't get confused with Tanjung Benoa and Nusa Dua. While they are very close to each other Tanjubg Benoa is another 1.5 km's up the road.
It is true that Nusa Dua is very quiet at the momment, the Galleria is basically shut down and Balu Village just outside had a number of restaurants which were closed.
As for Tanjung Benoa itself, it was pretty busy when we were up their for a couple of days in early April. There are a cluster of restaurants up near the Novotel/Mirage that were doing a very good trade.

Casa Blanca (this place has so many fairy lights you could see it from space)
As pointed out as well, it is only a 15 minute cab ride back into Kuts/Legian which will cost you around AUS$5.00.
