The blatent sex trade is not for us. We have been to Phuket 3 times in the past 18 months and love it. We stay in Patong but far enough away from the Bangla Road where all 'ping pong' shows are (I envy those muscles and such control... not that I saw them LoL) The good thing about Phuket is that 'it' is contained and you don't have to go there if you don't want to. Koh Samui shocked us and we found it in our face as 'it' was everywhere (not contained) we were saddened at seeing a 2/3 year old child dressed up like an 18 year about to go to a disco *we both shook our heads* After that we said Thailand was not for us but never the less we tried Phuket and we love it. I guess it depends on where you stay. Cheers Geri
