like the Adhi Darma, Green Garden etc And their restauants are full every night!!! Even the Puri Tanah Lot across from the Camplung Mas is a very budget hotel restauant - but always quite busy.
Budget hotel doesnt necessarily mean that it will have bad food. If a budget hotel has a good restarant - it has the added benefit of being quite cheap and is a blessing (as is helps save more money for shopping!!!) Its hard to compare a hotel like the Dynasty with the Camplung Mas - because they are like chalk and cheese. I think we both prefer smaller more balinese style accomodation.
There is good and bad in most hotels - I just think its good to be forwarned and informed. I really like the Rama Beach cottages and have recommended it to several people on this forum as a good family hotel with a great pool - but I also mention the rooms were small and the food to be not the best either. Empty restauants each night are a dead giveaway!!!! So if you stay there you just accept that you probably will eat out for most meals. Where as the Camplung Mas had big rooms and a smaller pool, so you pick where you want to stay based on whats important to you.
