We stayed there several years ago and enjoyed it enough to go back the following year.
We particularly liked a late night swim in the quiet secluded small pool, but when we went back we found that area was being used every night for "theme nights". These weren't cheap, but they were good and we enjoyed ourselves at a couple of them. But somehow it didn't seem the same and we never went back.
A big change in only one year [which would probably please some, but not others]. Perhaps a good example of why it may be a good idea to check the archives, but also good to ask for up-to-date opinions from a variety of people with different tastes.
I'll be nearby at the Bali Ayu for a few days in early August and I'll check the Intan out for old times' sake.
