Stayed at the LBH in June along with Bruce and Barb and Sinter...we had Deluxe Villa 8A, 8B & 8c (3 families) unlike Bruce and Barb we loved it, yes the rooms are basic. The grounds and pool area are fantastic...and if you are travelling with kids, the location is great! The renovations did not worry us at all...We spent very little time in our rooms, we mostly sat on our decks or around the pool or out doing something! It is up to the individual! Bruce and Barb are only one opinion voiced many times in the last few weeks! I haven't stayed at the Mandira, so I can't comment! The Deluxe Villa's haven't been refurbished as yet....We loved the location of our Villa's as they were close to the main pool (but not too close) and we had a garden area in front of the Villa which the kids we happy to play.
