YET - it can be done !
With Denpasar, you could do some damage in 2hrs, 4hrs or a lot in a day.
It really depends what type of shopping you want to do.
As for market type shopping, I find Ubud the better place.
Waterbom Park is a day trip if you have kids - then you need a day
of rest in between everything (maybe a luxury you can't afford - as
time is short)
If you go up to Ubud, you should do the market, the monkeys and the
dancing in 1 day - no probs, you could even do the Elephants on the
same day. We did the Elephants and the WWR in 1 day - cost was approx
AU$100 ea (2xA & 2xC).
It will be all go go go for you.
When are YOU going to fit in the cocktail by the pool ?
The Bali Hai cruise we did years ago - it was a sunset cruise.
It has the tranny show on then (gone now, or was in June anyway).
Maybe no interst to the kids though.
You can do the Nusa Lembongan day trip - a bit like the reef cruises
up north QLD. There goes another day !
