Simply because I didn't like tanning. I prefered to go to tne East side of Bali beaches in the evening, no matter I was in Sanur, Tanjung or Nusa Dua.
When you're leaning on the sofa by the pool or the beach facing the ocean in GBB, you'll not stare at the sun in the evening, as the sunset is on your backside. moreover the tower would shade your body.. and feel the breeze , uh-huh so cool and relaxing.
As we know, there are two beach markets, the one is just to the North of GBB beach and the other is down to the South, as known as Sindhu market. The North market was crowded by mostly locals as usual.I thought they were just killing the time, wandering along the market. There is a gate to the Dhiwangkara hotel inside the market, where I saw some tourists in casual dresses.
I went to the Sindhu market on 19,00 PM, nothing unusual, I saw Tootsies bar for the first time and some vendors near the bar ushered me politely to see their shop. The market road was clean and... quiet. That's why I love Sanur.
FYI, the bowling center in GBB was out of service. it seemed like it had been closed for a long time.
Have a nice trip !
