My husband and I were married there almost 7 years ago and have stayed there on 3 occassions and have found it to be one of the prettiest places to stay in Bali, the staff are great all the rooms are fairly large for Bali standards, they didn't have a tv or fridge but who needs one when you can sit on your balcony listening to the mirriad of birds sing and watch tiny squirrels cavorting thru the tops of the trees at the same level as your balconny. I would thoughly reccommend this hotel if your looking to have a quiet relaxing stay in Ubud. Yes the property is on a steep hillside so there are a lot of steps throughout the property, but it makes for a very scenic walk around the property as the gardens, and ponds are all very lovely (not so easy to stumble back drunk....)
