I saw other too that were really upsetting - but these little guys I built up a bit of a relationship with.
I contacted Sarita about a little bald and scaley puppy that was spotted outside of Waterbom Park. We never saw it again - so I hope she managed to track it down.
I thought conditions were getting better for dogs in Bali - but found myself finding so many pitifull dogs there it was heart breaking. I fed a female dog on the beach out the front of the Inna Hotel without a hair on her body.... she had large teets showing she had been drained from pups and was sooooo timid. I left her a huge box of food and next minute I saw a hawker chasing her off - so i got her back again and stayed with the her until she finished eating. Then I bought some water and used a dish from the hotel to give her a big drink - she followed us all through the markets - sweet little thing she was. If only I could bring them all home with me!!!
