I actually kept a diary of all the places we went to and all the food we ate at each restaurant (and the cost). So I could go on forever, but I won't. At Rumours we had fresh tuna spring rolls which were to die for. My partner liked the chicken ragout at Mykonos. All the pasta dishes at Punto and Basta were delicious. The desserts at The Living Room - especially the sprawberry and raisin mousse served in a white chocolate cone -yummy. The BBQ seafood at Ku De Ta (they give you an apron to wear while you eat it). And the spag bol at Cafe Moka. Oh, also the Soto Ayam at Bali Bakery (near the new Kuta Galleria shopping centre).
As far as the resort was concerned. They had everything we needed. We like to be on the beach. I'm never too fussed about room facilities. I'm happy to have a comfy bed, a hot shower and a tele (this one had cable). The pool area was nice with a swim up bar that had happy hour every afternoon. The main restaurant was being refurbished, so all meals were served at the Sunset Lounge right on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shuttle was good, leaving every 2 hours. But most of all the location - right next door to Ku De Ta, a 400 metre walk to La Lucciola, 800 metres to The Living Room and right on Jl Laksmana (where lots of good restaurants are).
