Yes, I thought the breakfast included was a bonus, and although I heard people complaining about it,I actually thought that it was fine, especially as you could have your eggs done any which way and there was always fresh fruits. It may not have had the variety of the Dynasty all iclusive breakfast, but honestly for the price, what do some people expect? And wasn't it nice being able to view the beach and sea from the restaurant, and "people watch" along the tourist walkway?
Sorry don't know much about villas/apartments accommodation at all,as we have usually stayed in superior rooms, although one year we did have a villa in the grounds of the NaTour, since re-named Inna Kuta.I wasn't overly impressed, but that was way back in 1993.
I had a look at the Bali Gardens Hotel whilst in Tuban, and they have one only wonderful villa, with 2 bedrooms, and separate lounge/kitchen, but it is very pricey and also booked months in advance usually.
The Dynasty where we stayed for the latter part of our holiday has great executive suites, also quite pricey, but you could check the layout etc on their website: www.balidynasty.com
These are located on each corner of the 2nd and 3rd floors overlooking the pool area, and have a separate bedroom, then lounge with more beds.
