am sorry to say that i too have been guilty of telling the odd one (only the odd) to check archives.
I don't mean this in a detrimental way , though realisticaly thinking, there are dumbo's like me that had browsed this forum for a while without actually knowing how to search.And then i often did a search and all it told me was error !!blah blah blah
Anyway i too think there is too much nastiness or sarcasm here at times and and i have often spoken up about the fact that the public comes to read including people that i have sent.
So perhaps if we took a deep breath before we jumped and perhaps if the newbies did a search also then we would have a happy camp.
