been in touch with head office of Garuda ,a sugestion when u arrive home I would email or write to the top knob of Garuda within Aus and complain badly of your lack of treatment and lay it on thick ,you may be surprised you may end up with a free flight or some kind of compensation it has happened to people I know and they were offered a free return flight ,good luck .
But like Tina said better to fix the problem with the plane before you took off ,hope you are going soon and enjoy the trip .
