for my liking it would be too darn cold in winter & there is the risk of bushfires in Summer,it's about an hours drive to Handorf from home.We live & work on the Adelaide plains in the Northern suburbs - it's also only a bit over 30 minutes to get to the airport to head off to our favourite holiday destination !
I like travelling up to the Hills when I have interstate or overseas visitors but wouldn't want to live there.I like being out our side of town,mainly wide open roads,heaps of close shopping centres & facilities yet it's only about a 10 minute drive & you can be in the country.
