It is not so much the heat factor that will get you burnt apart from the fact when it is hot we wear less clothes,
but it is because we are closer to the equator there that the UV rays are a lot stronger so even if you already have a tan it still pays to use heaps of sunscreen , on the just in case.
I work in the bush and am tanned all year round and still get a touch of burn when I get to Bali
