Put in over 25 million when they joined. The only teams to receive concessions are Non AFL cities (Brisb & Sydney) to establish the AFL there. Kangaroos, Bulldogs, & Richmond have been subsidised by AFL to the tune of 20 million (so far)to keep them afloat.(where do you think this money has come from. The interstate teams each fly interstate to play on 12 occasions yearly while the Collingwoods, Essendon etc get lost on their 3 trips to the airport (and still have the temerity to have won the flag 7 times in the past 13 years. Reduce the # of Victorian teams to about 6 & they might be competitive.
