Dawn patrol surfing at Uluwatu with older son, good fun!

Later went to waterbom park. Great place. took our kids and nephew who was in Kuta too! Very fast water slides, and good exercise climbing up the stairs! Ice cold Bintangs were going down real good!!! Wife especially liked the lazy river.......Kids had a great time.............Not too many rides but still would recommend to anyone, especially with kids!!!

Later played pool at GVC then went out to dinner at my favorite place called "Made's Warung" I had the snapper wrapped/steamed in tinfoil, mmmmmmm............
Black rice pudding for dessert, more mmmmmm...........

Next day:Waves too small, we all went shopping ..........

Later, had to get massage from cute girl who everyday asked when??? When???

Finally gave in and said okay, where? She took me to back of her store and laid down on mat and had her and her friend massage for an hour. Two at one time! for 70,000 rp. very relaxing.......

Later that night Bemo picked my son and I up to go to G-Land surfing camp. All night drive, my poor son ends up getting car sick and vomiting the whole way, dry heaves!!
Never saw Aussies and Kiwis move so quick to get out of his way to the window!!! After ferry ride across to Java we make it to grajagan fishing village to see a beautiful multi colored sunrise!! BEAUTIFUL!!!

The next ten days were surfing nirvana! Eat, surf, eat , surf, sleep, etc. and lots of ice cold BINTANGS!!!!!!!!! With monkeys right outside our cabana. Saw snakes and monitor lizards. Met many good friends from around the globe, NZ, OZ, Japan, Hawaii, Spain, Brazil, Sweeden, and the staff at the camp are the best!! Living IN the jungle.......I love it!!!!!!!

Back to Kuta kinda culture shock.....Not using money for ten days is kinda weird??? Had dinner at bamboo corner. Good food! Great prices!! Great location.....

Slept in for once felt good. Relaxed around GVC then lunch at anothe favorite, "poppies" Sashimi plate for only $2.50?US !! Also had whole fish snapper!!!! Need I say, B-I-N-T-A-N-G!!!!!!

Later in PM we found out about 50% off price at melasti spa. Wife and I had very relaxing massages with professional table you put your face in, flowers, scented oils, relaxing music.... WOW! Now I'm really RELAXED!!!! Price: only 90,000 rp. per person including tip.(But we felt we had to give more,it was that good!)

I had great Nasi campur next door to GVC at Yogi's. Gotta be my favorite meal that Nasi campur, so many different flavors! and it fills you so.........and of course,"BESAR BINTANG"

Listened to GVC band as usual with many Arak Attacks, slept real well that night!!!

Last day, just laid back around pool area, savoring every last moment, Bintang after Bintang.........so sad to go.......met sooooo many nice people.........wondering how many of you(on this forum) were there at the GVC at the same time?? I was going to ask around the hotel, but it seems kinda odd to ask people ,"are you on the forum?" So you can fess up now, anyone that was there from June 1st to June 20th?

Forget to say how wonderful the staff was at GVC while I was gone the ten days. My wife and younger son were so well looked after, just like family. Scotty and Daisy and all the rest.................can't say enough.........or maybe I did ;-) Aloha!
