Hi,

You can hire a bike just about anywhere, infact you'll trip over a sing every 3 metres or so on the main streets.

Finding a fully automatic is a little harder but not a heap. I wanted an auto as I ride a vespa here and am not used to gears. While I found riding in Bali just fine, its not a good place to learn, so I stuck with a bike similar to the one I was used to.

Anyhow, I can't remember the exact name of the road, but its the bendy one straight out from the main gates of the Jayakarta. Think its called Rum Jungle road or JL Bagus something. The Place I got it from was about half way up and in a florist shop. The guy had a few Autos and a few manual bikes with an auto clutch. Some were older but hi had one with 1900 km on it (well its got a few more now I've finished with it, but it was a great bike).

I'm just sad to be sitting at my desk, not by the pool with a Bintang in hand.

Enjoy your trip!!!
