Buying DVD's

Does anyone have an opinion about buying DVD's . Have lists from Helgie, Bali movies and Sakura but don't know which to choose. Intend to buy heaps to bring home. Am i better off waiting until I get there and shop around (but have a list of what i want) or should i just email my list. Has anyone any preferences between the supplies or any suggestions. Helgie is quoting 15,000 rupies but i have seen something posted that if you buy in volume the price comes down??? Also I saw posted a shop called Men at Work that was recommended? Anyone know of it, where it is and are they any good? Any opinions appreciated.
