In 1993 we stayed at Wina Cottages, which was accessed off Jl Pantai Kuta, up a lane. If we walked out of the back gate from Wina, Adhi Dharma Hotel was almost completed and ready for guests. The Bungy was working then although we saw very few jumpers and did not participate ourselves!
Back then, if you walked up the lane to Benesari and turned right, there were lots of lovely warungs for breakfast and great Bintang happy hour deals.
