Personal choice though - Seminyak is a little way away from Kuta and the rest of the hubub, Tuban is just damn busy and crowded and Legian is nice - not too close, not too far away. There are great hotels all over Bali - depends if you are looking for beachfront or not, personally, if you can afford, there is nothing like beachfront. We always stay at Puri Raja, but have been hearing great reports about Kumala Pantai.....
