I have stayed at the three most popular places, being Sanur, Kuta and Nusa Dua and I can say that I have enjoyed each and every holiday I have had in Bali. Each spot offers its own kind of holiday and you go along with the flow. The last couple of times (4) we have stayed in different Nusa Dua to Benoa hotels. when we needed the urge for a bit extra fun then we ventured to Kuta, but always glad to get back to the peace and quiet of Nusa Dua.
But each to their own.
