Yayyyyyy! I have just been down to our specialty foods emporium and found real candle nuts, tamarind paste, palm sugar, kaffir lime leaves, and I got lemon grass and shallots and chillies yesterday at vege market. I might try the plant shop next to see if I can buy the plants for salam leaves and pandan leaves and then I will be all set up..except for the torch ginger and galangal. Maybe even buy my own nutmeg tree if I can!
Can't wait to start trying out some of the recipes!
