As you walk down the street, you will be offered $2 coin jewellery. There is also a stand around the Matahari entrance in Kuta Square. Some waiters and waitresses may offer to sell you $2 coin rings, bracelets etc, in between taking your order!
I havent had any previous experience with jewellery being remodelled, but I think I would be concerned that my diamonds may be replaced. I dont think I could tell the difference with a very sparkly, colourful cubic zirconia vs diamond!
