Most of the reports on here that relate to sponsoring are actually for sponsoring their education and not their living costs and are done through rotary and it is organised right here in W.A.
The cost is Aus 110 per year per child which is fully tax deductible and while a lot of people say that they are not after a tax deduction just look at in a slightly different way,if you are on the top rate of tax and you sponsor two kids it is your decision whether to claim a deduction or not but if you do make a claim you will get enough money as a refund to sponsor another child and at no real cost to you but will make a very large difference to the child who gets the education.Every dollar goes to the education and nothing is deducted for expenses.
