Thanks for those nice words.
Who knows what causes or how to avoid the dreaded Bali belly, just a matter of good or bad luck I suppose,
Hardy Grosair is certainly worth a visit. It is a great place to get a feel for how much things should cost elsewhere. They have a much better range than the other department stores if you are interested in the arty crafty things.
I am sad that Sanur is so quiet and personally would not stay there till things pick up a bit. I would be worried about freshness of food if they do not have more patrons. Sadly if everyone thinks like me then I guess it will remain quiet for some time. The thing I love most about Sanur is being able to see the volcano. My favorite memories of Bali are the early morning walks before the markets open and seeing Agung in all her glory.
Uluwatu I love for the magnificent views.
Cheers for now, sorry I took so long to answer
Frank
