The power source/plug is different in Bali to Australia, but you can buy a multi pin plug which will allow you to plug your hair machine thingy into and into the power point in Bali. Matahari sell them for a few dollars and you can also buy them in Australia. Sometimes the Hotel provide ones on lend, but I always prefer to take my own.
If you wander down to the Matahari in Kuta Square, go up to the top floor, near the crockery, linen etc and they on the back wall (were last March) behind the cashier.
