we stayed at the Alam Kul Kul in a family room with a two year old and three year old, which had a curtain that could be drawn across so that the kids couldnt see. It worked well for us and the babysitters were great. Also had a toddlers pool and small grounds. Its in the area you mentioned but it is a boutique hotel so it is a bit more expensive but it is beautiful.
