Many of my friends hated Bali on their first trip,went back on their second and fell in love with the place.But like you said,some poeple love it...some people hate it.
I think the fact that you were there with your little (or not so little)girls and vice versa will always make the trip a memorable one.
I wish I could have taken my Dad there.We would have had a ball :)
