I'm travelling to Bali with my 13 year old Son in November for one week. I would like to take him to the volcano, the gold/silver smithing village, Ubud and an orphanage (so he gets the idea that life for some kids isn't all dvd's and t.bone steak) and take something with us for the children.
Can I get recommendations for drivers and what to see, also an orphanage that could do with the help (and what they need). I don't know the name of the gold/silver craftsman's village - so that would be helpful too.
I'd like to take my Son on a couple of day trips and just spend the rest of the week playing vegetable (as much as that is possible with a teenager) around the pool.
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Perhaps the Crisis Care Centre would be good too, especially if I can bring something to help them out???
