We stayed in the Superior Beach rooms last year and they are HUGE, big verandah out the front with table and chairs and small lounge suite in the room with a enormous 4 poster bed (bigger that King size). The Standard Beach Wing rooms looked lovely as well just not quite as big, all have either balcony or verandah. We originally booked into the standard Garden rooms and upgraded after a couple of days as we found like you the rooms to be a bit small and the bathrooms needed some work (had to kneel down to get under the shower head). We loved the hotel and location, I'm sure you will have a fantastic time!
