I've been waiting for your JBR as I haven't been to see Lean School yet and it's simply great to at least find out a little of how the money there is being spent. Most of the money came from New Zealand but I also have a Grant to continue the work in conjunction with the Seminyak Club.
You're right about SD 3. Once again this is a new school for us to sponsor and they haven't had many visits from sponsors, but that is all about to change. Several years ago a wealthy American Club sponsored them for a three year period but never visited them and at the end of three years the poor kids were simply left back where they were. Those like yourself who are now sponsoring their education, not only visit them, but care more to see the kids thru their elementary education. I know I'm biased, but I think your help, and that of many other Forumites, is far more meaningful in furthering international understanding and goodwill.
We were going to visit Amed but not sure for how long. I think you've convinced me to make it a bit longer than first thought.
