As far as I'm aware as long as the DVD's are for personal use including gifts for family and friends customs won't be concerned. There is a difference between 3 or 4 copies of 1 DVD and 10 or 20 copies of a particular DVD. I guess if you bought 2 or 3 of every DVD you purchase this may also cause Customs to question whether you intend to sell the excess DVD's.
I plan to buy 1 copy of every DVD that I want and maybe 1 or 2 extras for a handful of DVD's that friends have requested.
