Sounds like the same driver! Yeah, Benoa is VERY quiet, but I don't think it was ever anything different - it's a tiny village, with some resorts and shops along the road leading to it. There's lots of choices for dinner, and only a few less for lunch & b'fast. You also have Warung Nyoman right next door - ask for a discount because you're staying at the Aston, people have said that they will give you 20% off- worth a try! Oh, and I just looked up my notes on the little warung nth of the Conrad - the sign out the fron says "Chinese food, fresh seafood" - it's great, just don't watch the kitchen hygiene - better to be ignorant!
