I had 35 kilos....between two bags...I went into the excess luggage office and told the lady I was just supporting the Balinese and she let me go...and then I got an upgrade to business class...maybe she felt sorry for me

I am intending to go back next September for 3 weeks and stay at Kuta Lagoon again. I really liked it there. I liked down the area you stayed in but I didn't think about the noise from breakfast. I really am looking for somewhere that is relatively quiet in the mornings. My room 123 was terrible with the children's wading pool directly outside. The aussie kids were fine - it was the Java kids that screamed at 7 am.
I was really depressed when I came home...just wanted to go back again. I love how you just relax and take it so easy.
No didn't get my quilt - next time - found a shop that I loved in Ubud so will go back again when I think I can fit it in. I will take my partner next time so I can use his kilos as he hates to shop so he won't buy much.
