Adverse reactions are a quite personal thing. To be sure do a simple test first. Select you tattooist early in your stay and have a small spot put on where you hope to have the final work applied. If there is no reaction after several days, maybe a wek, go back and have the whole thing done. Another advantage of this approach is that it will be in good condition the show off to all your friends when you go home.
My personal advice, having seen some terrible things around the pool, is don't.
