if you use atm,s withdraw the max amount allowed as the the bank charges are the same,some atm,s have 600,000rp limit others have1000,000 go for the latter.i have heard rumours that some atm,s have a limit of 2000,000rp though i do not know where they are.as far as bringing excess alcahol back into australia as previously stated as long as you DECLARE IT you should have no problems with customs i always bring back a ctn of bintang as well as a bottle of spirits and at least 2 somtimes 4 ctns of ciggies/tobacco,always DECLARED always been waved through.there more interested in other items like fruit,meat woodcarvings and dirt on your shoes.-have a nice holiday
