tested in Perth before we left and took the prescription with him, but they also tested his eyes at the opticians in Bali to double check.
I probably would recommend taking the prescription with you for multifocals.
I have prescription sunglasses for distance and broke mine while I was over there.
They tested my existing glasses, then tested my eyes and the sunglasses are actually better than the ones I had!!
My husbands also came with magnetic sunglasses, so really, $300 for 3 pairs of specs was really good.
THey have a lot of styles to choose from and they are the same as you would get in Perth etc for a fraction of the price.
