Ok I'm a little nervous here so please be patient and I hopeI wont bore you too much.We had a good flight over with AP and were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to super economy YAY.Got through the VOA etc with no dramas at all and were at our hotel by 2.30pm.As I have mentioned before we stayed at the Puri Raja in legian and it was fine but pretty old and weary.The front steps are a killer (lucky we found a side entrance on ground level which was good).I will just do a restaurant guide rather than go day by day....Poco Loco for entrees and cocktails that night.Legian Snacks for lunch ( so cheap and yummy).Massages at the melasti in the arvo ( way too hard and ended up all bruised...my fault as I said I like it firm !!)Bali Cyber Cafe for dinner with the obligatory bottle of Hatten Ros'e and finished off with the sticky black rice pudding YUM.Next day we went to Sanur to go to Tootsies shop and this was a big event as its very hard to find and of course none of the locals will tell you where it is cause its fixed price.There are hundreds of stalls along the beach front and it did look pretty quiet there...beach looks lovely.Went to the Bamboo Corner for lunch and later went to the Pantai for dinner...(probably the least enjoyable meal but it wasnt bad),Next day when it was absolutely pouring with rain we stopped at a new little Fish and Chip cafe on melasti st named Lan Mai and had a nice meal there too.That night was a sensational meal at Kori's in Poppies lane the atmosphere is so realxing too.Was a bit of an effort to get there with all the road works !!Next day Wayan and Friends for lunch YUMMY and after more shopping as usual we went to HU U's in Seminyak...Very Nice very trendy too not overly expensive except for the wine!!Lunch at Indo National (good but wouldnt rave about it like some do ).That night we went to a 40th party in Seminyak at the Sienna Villas which are sensational and so was the night!!Had beautiful breakkie at TOMMY's cafe in RUm Jungle Road..grainy bread,home made chutney and YUMMY coffee just like home !!Lunch at Cafe Warisan in Seminyak overlooking the rice paddies and that was divine...Duck and Pistachio Terrine and Warm Fetta salad YUMMY.This was our last night and we went to KU DE TA in sEminyak....SENSATIONAL !! Really really good!! On our last day we ran out of time to eat and so ended up having Sushi rolls at the aiprport...again Really good food.To wrap it all up we didnt have a bad meal the whole trip and most were very good!!Apart from eating we managed to shop like crazy (even though this is the first time I have brought money home with me ??) and read books.chat to people check out lots of other accommodation places, go to denpasar.....and even relax a bit.Seems like more than 4 weeks ago since I came back and I could go again tomorrow !!Hope this is of some interest to somebody.Thanks
