I bought a bali sim card when we were there last week, but found it cheaper just to go to a wartel and phone home. It isn't as though you do it very often and it cost me about $10 for 10 -12 minutes to my son. Much cheaper than using a mobile. It doesn't matter which way you go there is no cheap option.
