I have no hard feelings about you or your post and I am sure others don't either. Forget it and get on with organizing your trip. Go to S&S and everyone will have a laugh.
I think you are like me (not the know it all, old hag bit) in the fact that you seem to put your mouth into gear before thinking. (Reacting instead of acting). I have been known to do this, and on this forum. Some of the people who responded to your post have flamed me in the past when I have reacted to a post, and usually with just cause. I now usually only answer questions with info. When a post incites me to elicit a personal response I think about it first. If I wait a while someone invariable says what I intended to say (and usually words it better). It's a good idea to read a post from all angles before replying. Someone suggested earlier to look at each post as if it was positive and then you can see both sides (the old glass half empty, half full).
I hope this doesn't sound condascending as it's not meant to be. I just couldn't stop worrying about how all this is affecting you. You haven't said anything. Sorry but it's my welfare training (have to fix everything), that with my teaching (make sure everyone is happy and learning) can be a lethal combination. I'm an organiser and my friends always tell me to stop acting like a teacher, when I organise them.
When are you going? My hubby will be there in August. When I told him what you called me he said he'd like to meet you to shake your hand, haha. He really needs a holiday NOW. LOL
