Have mentioned before the reason but no problem...
Sometimes I point out the gender mistakes other times I don't...just makes me smile & doesn't worry me.
Usually makes no difference to the posts whether I'm male or female anyway.
My name is Michelle.
When I started posting a few years back (when there was no registration) Michelle was already used by several & was too long to post :)
So I just shortened it to Mic.
In Aus the male form is Mick or Mike not no confusion in written form only verbal.
Once registration was introduced here I just left it as Mic as that's who people knew me by.
I'm not called Mic in my daily life (except sometimes by a couple of forum friends)
I get called by my real name (and sometimes a lot of other names too lol )
