We have stayed at the Bounty Hotel for the past four years and think it is fantastic. The pros are....friendly staff, centrally located to main Kuta shops, five minute walk to beach, five minute walk to any number restaurants, all rooms air conditioned, two swim up pool bars and one that is open 24 hours ( got to love that ), great food and room service available 24 hours, safe and secure safety deposit boxes, in house massage ( ask for Norma - she's about 80 years old but can she work the tired muscles at the end of the day ), excellent money changer in the Kodak shop directly across the road from the hotel. The cons are....pool area can get pretty crowded in peak season, not enough deck chairs around pool for everyone, very slippery foyer when wet ( quite dangerous ), advertised as having spas but in actual fact the spa consists of water running into the pool like a fountain, prices for drinks can be expensive with plus plus tax added. The Bounty is touted as a singles hotel and the links suggest it caters more for the young and the party goers but we ( age withheld b/n 30 and 40 ) have found it to be nothing out of the ordinary for a resort. Lots and lots of Aussies go their also, don't know if this is a pro or a con. You will love it and will not be disappointed. Hope this helps cheeky..............
