We stayed there in June and it was a bit "tired" but really clean and we didnt have a problem with the hot water in fact it was great.Just a bit dissappointed that it was 3star like the melasti but not quite up to the Melasti's standard.We couldnt get into the MBR but it is definately the best value for money I think.Dont worry about the shopping etc cause there is great shopping and restaurants all round the Puri.Try Bali Cyber Cafe in Rum Jungle Road also the Thai too.Legian Snacks up towards Padma st is tops and so cheap.Enjoy
