We are also booked at the Puri Raya for 5 days in early Sept.
I am not expecting anything more than 3 star but we know a lot of people who have stayed there many times. We walked thru the Hotel last Sept to meet some friends and the restaurant on the beach end and pool looked very nice. Its a smaller hotel. The location is good. Its along Jl Padma Utara, not too far from Jl Padma. Lots of shops around and warungs. Plenty of restaurants in Jl Padma, Sahadewa and Melasti. The Melasti beach resort is close by and the Padma Hotel. Further along Jl Padma Utara is the Jayakarta.
Easy walk to SnS. The Melasti markets are walking distance too.
