Hi, ATMs are all over Bali now so not a problem getting funds out. Two things to remember try to get 50 000Rp notes not 100 000Rp notes as the larger notes not so easy to use in markets etc. Also the card comes out last. Many people forget and leave the card thinking it has been swallowed by the machine. OK to take cash. Best exchange at the Kodak shops they are and agent for PT Kuta Central and do not rip you off. Changing money in Oz or Us no good - the Rupiah rate is awful. Travellers cheques rip off with fees etc and not easy to change in Bali. Enjoy your stay.
