East meets West and all that. In this case everyone is right to a certain extent...Right in wanting to care in the best way, or only way, we can as individuals....If someone has clothes to give, then give clothes but put them where they are urgently needed. Some see the needs in what they can compare "at home"...and sure there are so many if you have that perspective....but those needs in the small villages are magnified a thousand times, but rarely seen...We can walk along Kuta Beach and see the "needs"...but then we can walk along a beaten track in the mountains, for example and be totally shocked by what we would encounter there. I can only tell you that there are people who are seriously malnourished and there are people who dont have enough money to eat in a restaurant.....who do you choose to help....??? There are those who dont have a good pair of shoes and there are those who dont have any legs.....Look further than "Kuta Beach" or the like.....then you will know...and be touched forever by what you see.....Barong Naga is right....and his wisdom and perception of what life in Bali is really like should be guidance to those who want to care for the Balinese people....listen and learn....Balicrisiscare.org
