If you are staying in Sanur I think your best option is to use Perama Tourist Buses who have a boat that goes every day from Sanur harbour ( not Benoa harbour ) at about 10.45am returning each day at 8.30 am. The approx cost is about 90,000 RP return and takes approx 1.5 hours. It is not rough all the way only on the approaches to Lembongen and if you take a strong sea sickness pill , just to be on the safe side, you will not feel ill. Dont let 20 minutes of swell put you off. Plenty of budget accommodation options on the island.
