We stayed in the Deluxe rooms last year and loved it, originally we booked into a standard garden wing room but after a couple of days upgraded, the standard room was okay but the bathroom was a bit ordinary and we wanted to treat ourselves a bit hence the upgrade. The deluxe room was fabulous - huge, very close to the main pool and beach with full lounge suite and all the mod cons the only thing they don't have is tea/coffee making facilities which didn't worry us at all. Restaurants are great and reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly - I'm sure you will love it we would definitely stay there again.
