that we always used originally worked out of the hotel across the road to the left of Midnight Oil, then he had to pay them too much to park his vehicle there, so he just used to hang around at Midnight Oil. Finally he just worked from home with his mobile and word of mouth. He was a great guy, really funny, excellent guide and good English. Does this sound like the Johnny you know?
